Proyectos e Instalación de Material Urbano, S.A. is a leading company in the industrial urban furniture sector. A team of specialised professionals, modern facilities and the most advanced technology, along with a wide range of products with perfect finishes, guarantee the comprehensive development of urban furniture projects adapted to the surroundings in which they will be placed and personalised in accordance with the needs of each client. Once its products have been installed, Primur will take charge of the maintenance of these through an assistance network composed of twenty technical teams and workshop-vehicles distributed throughout the country.
In order to strengthen its profit and loss account, Primur has produced a strategic plan whose basic priorities are the opening up of new market niches, through the commercialisation of new product lines and the promotion of internationalisation by means of agreements with export companies or foreign manufacturers, focussing its efforts on the Portuguese, German, French, Greek, Czech and Slovak markets.
A direct consequence of the internationalisation process was the development of specific products for foreign clients, such as the Praha kiosk or the Tourist Information point.
Likewise, collaboration agreements have been signed with urban furniture companies in France and Germany, in order to significantly increase the catalogue of products that Primur can offer its clients in Spain.
In line with its philosophy of commitment to quality, in 2004 Primur renewed the certificate in accordance with the ISO 9001/2000 standard, which is translated into excellent finishes on all its products.
The need to preserve the Environment in general, and the place in which it carries out its activities in particular, has led Primur to take an active approach towards Environmental Protection and adopt the measures necessary to prevent the deterioration of the environment and achieve a gradual improvement in this. This has meant the obtainment of certification in accordance with the ISO 14001, “Environmental Management Systems” standard.
Likewise, it has also been granted the Company Audited by Audelco (Audit of Occupational Risks) Certificate, which certifies Systems for the Prevention of Occupational Risks.
The staff of Proyectos e Instalaciones de Material Urbano, S.A. at the end of financial year 2006 consisted of 84 workers, of whom 6% are disabled.
