SEGURONCE’s main activity is as a broker for general insurance products, especially home, auto and life insurance. Through its extensive and professional network of salesmen, it offers a quality service that is rooted in fast and effective customer service. Its activity extends throughout the nation through its eighteen branch offices, most of which are classified as Special Employment Centers.
Seguronce has continued to enhance its products so as to provide solutions that are tailored to associations and federations of the disabled. This has translated into the sales of specialized insurance products designed to meet the needs of this group, which has made Seguronce unique in the disability sector.
The current dire economic situation that is affecting every financial market has had a considerable effect on the stability of the portfolio that Seguronce had acquired in recent years, and which was one of its most notable achievements. The result has been a significant 18% reduction in commission-based income at the company.
The policy cancellations that befell the company in 2010 were a continuation of the trend that started in 2009, and were driven primarily by the decreased spending power of its clientele, who have proceeded to cancel non-binding policies in order to put their personal financial affairs in order.
For the 2011 FY, and in an effort to resolve this important problem, the brokerage is determined to attract new clients by appealing to groups for the disabled, who are largely unaware of Seguronce’s insurance offerings despite the enormous acceptance that the various associations have of Seguronce.
As of 31 December 2010, the SEGURONCE staff numbered 69, of whom 55 were disabled.
