V2 Alentis Auxiliary Services was awarded the contract for Hostess, Usher and Box Office Staff Services at the Laboral City of Culture of the Laboral University of Gijon in August.

The Alentis Group company has now become part of the project that the Government of the Principality of Asturias kicked off in 2001 and which came into fruition in March 2007:  Laboral City of Culture, a 21st century cultural city in which there is room for all types of shows and leisure proposals. 

The buildings that form part of this city include: the headquarters of  Radiotelevisión of the Principality of Asturias in the former Convent  of St. Claire, Laboral Centre for  Art  and Industrial Creation, the Integrated Vocational Training Centre, the Corinthian Courtyard that is home to the Shop, Tower, School of Stage Arts and Professional Dance, Church, Coffee Shop, Theatre, Auditorium and "Jovellanos" Faculty of Commerce, Tourism and Social Sciences, are some places whose headquarters are in the City of Culture
Thanks to the trust placed by the University of Gijon, V2 Alentis is now responsible for face to face public service in the numerous areas related to culture, training, leisure and creation in Asturias. Therefore, the V2 Alentis Services teams of hostesses, ushers and box office staff shall be the public face in this unique city.

Extension of the Renfe Suburban Contract in Catalonia
On the other hand, the Alentis Group’s V2 Auxiliary Services division in Catalonia has extended the service that it was already providing at the ticket offices at stations to a total of 25.

With this new agreement, V2 Alentis Auxiliary Services has doubled its presence at Renfe suburban stations in Catalonia, becoming the only external operator providing this service throughout the region.
