- The CEOSA is confident it can consolidate the positive results achieved by its global management.

The 12th CEOSA Corporate Forum was held from the 19th to the 22nd of October at the Confortel Islantilla (Huelva), bringing together the Senior Management of the Corporate Centre and the executives of all the companies that comprise it: Confortel, Grupo Alentis, Oncisa, Primur, R.C. Alimentaria, Seguronce and Viajes 2000, as well as the technical personnel of the Corporate Centre.

The Forum was inaugurated by the corporate director of Organisation and Human Resources, Patricia Sanz, who, after welcoming participants, gave information on the content of the forum. For his part, the Chief Executive Officer of the ONCE Business Corporation (CEOSA), José María Arroyo, highlighted the work carried out in 2005, which makes it possible to plan new activities and face the challenges of coming years with every guarantee.

Positive Overall Results
Then, the managing director, Enrique Servando Sánchez, analysed the situation of the different companies of the Group, whose overall results are once again positive, and highlighted the most important events that took place over the past year in each area of business, of which we would particularly mention the opening of two new hotels, the Confortel Fuengirola (in Málaga) and the Confortel Almirante (Barcelona).
Eduardo González, corporate director of Finance and Investments of the CEOSA, explained to participants the actions being undertaken by his department, aimed at optimising the Group's profitability. Likewise, the corporate director of Organisation and Human Resources, Patricia Sanz, outlined the main initiatives being developed in both human resources and corporate communication.

The Collaboration of Specialists
Other collaborators at the forum included Training Lab, a consultancy company presided over by Juan Mateo, who, in his presentation, stressed the importance of “Efficient communication and teamwork”, as an essential instrument to make the tasks carried out in work groups more productive, thanks to the optimisation of individual values.

Another participant at the Forum was Santiago Álvarez de Mon, professor at the IESE Business School, who, in his speech, explored in greater depth this idea of techniques to strengthen efficient communication in work teams.

In order to consolidate the concepts learnt during the sessions, this year it was chosen to organise different activities in the open air, in which participants were able to demonstrate their aptitudes for teamwork.
On the last day of presentations, Eduardo González once again took the floor and informed participants of the status of implementation of the 2004-2007 Comprehensive Economic Plan, highlighting the fact that forecasts of fulfilment are 100 percent throughout the CEOSA, which will enable the companies that comprise the Corporation to face the coming years with great enthusiasm and fresh challenges.

The forum was closed by Ángel Sánchez, director general of the ONCE, who transmitted to participants the pride that the institution feels in its group of companies, which have demonstrated that they are a rising value and a reference to follow in the business world, as they combine both financial and social returns.
