The ONCE Business Corporation (CEOSA) has received the Business Initiative Award 2011 from the Guild of European Business Travel Agency (GEBTA). This European association of corporate travel agencies and companies, of which the two CEOSA companies, Confortel Hoteles and Viajes 2000, are members, has recognised the efforts of both of the ONCE Corporation’s companies in social integration, the elimination of barriers and the promotion of accessibility for the disabled.
At the award ceremony held in Barcelona on 16th June, GEBTA also posthumously awarded its Excellence Award 2011 to the late restaurateur, Santi Santamaría, founder of “El Racó”. The GEBTA Award 2011 for the best Professional Career went to the head of the Economic Policy Department at Barcelona University and expert in the development of transport infrastructures, Germà Bel.
