Confortel Fuengirola has been awarded the diploma that the well-known tour operator “Thomas Cook” gave to the hotel that best met its customers’ needs in 2006. The recognition for “Excellence” was received in addition to the outstanding marks given by hotel guests in questionnaires completed at the end of their stays. These are distributed to customers during their return flight and assess the quality of aspects as varied as the food, cleanliness of the facilities, leisure activities, entertainment and the hotel location.

Since it opened in 2005, this four-star Confortel Hotel complex has established itself as a benchmark of tourist quality on the Spanish Costa del Sol. In fact, this international award was obtained in competition with all the four and five-star hotels on the peninsula, of which only 10 have the prestigious diploma, recognised with an “E” for “Excellent” on the list “Thomas Cook” offers its customers by way of a guarantee certificate from this operator, the tourism sector leader in England, Holland, Germany and Belgium. Obtaining this award gives the CEOSA hotel chains high expectations of gaining more customers, now that they have an added incentive to choose Confortel Fuengirola.

Two years of success
In just two years, since it opened in 2005, the Confortel Fuengirola has established itself as a benchmark of tourist quality on the Costa del Sol. It has 180 rooms of which four are suites and 14 are suitable for disabled people. They all have satellite TV and a free WIFI connection.
Facilities include a public car park, swimming pool with sea views and rooms for meetings and functions which can hold up to 200 people. Situated right on the promenade (next to the Sea Sports Club and a large shopping centre), the Confortel Fuengirola offers its clients a wide range of sports and leisure activities, as well as a large selection of golf courses. Furthermore, the train station, with a direct route to the airport and the centre of Malaga, is also situated just a few metres from the hotel.
