As we announced in our last edition, the Confortel Hotels chain, belonging to the ONCE Business Corporation, opened the Calas de Conil hotel on the Costa de la Luz in Cádiz on 7th April, a four-star property which aims to become one of the most important in the area, offering an all-inclusive service and featuring a fantastic location right on the seafront, near several golf courses and the Sancti Petri shopping and leisure centre.

Newly built, the Confortel Calas de Conil has 295 guest rooms, most with sea views, 10 of which are suites, 78 adjoining rooms and 14 fully adapted for people with disabilities. Of course, it also offers all the additional services that the chain provides in its beach establishments and, thanks to the all-inclusive programme, customers can enjoy attentive and varied dining services in buffets and themed restaurants, national drinks in all the bars, towels and sun loungers at the swimming pool, and use the gymnasium and spa (except for specific treatments).

For the little ones (0 to 12 years old), the Calas de Conil has a miniclub full of adventures and run by qualified professionals, as well as a free nursery for children from 0 to 4 years old, which is open over lunchtime.                              

The hotel’s sporting options includes paddle-tennis, minigolf, table tennis, windsurfing, snooker, horse-riding, diving, jogging and golf, through agreements with the principal sports facilities in the area. In addition, the Confortel Calas de Conil organises cultural and gastronomic tours, horse trekking and shows.

For customers looking for a few days of rest and relaxation, the hotel offers its Spaconfort, with spa, jacuzzi, massage, and health and beauty treatments for maximal comfort and well-being.

Finally, worthy of special mention among its facilities are the themed restaurant, buffet, snack-bar, swimming pool for adults and children, heated pool, etc. The hotel also offers free WiFi connection in public areas, an Internet centre and four conference rooms for meetings and events with a capacity for 300 people.

The hotel employs around 150 people from the surrounding area (Cádiz, Chiclana, San Fernando, Jerez and Conil de la Frontera) and together with the Confortel Islantilla, it has become the chain’s second largest establishment on the Costa de la Luz and the fifth largest seafront complex; the others being the Confortel Fuengirola (Málaga), the Caleta Park (Girona) and the Anabel (Menorca), all four-star hotels.
