The ONCE (CEOSA) Business Corporation’s hotel chain, Confortel Hotels, once more participated in the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, held in Madrid from 20th to 24th January. For the third consecutive year, it has been awarded the best stand in the hotel category by the organization. This year, as a new feature, the stand has hosted the only live radio programme broadcast from the trade fair. 
The journalist, Ainara Ariztoy, interviewed different figures from the world of tourism at the Confortel Hotels stand, who evaluated the event from the point of view of business, public promotion and the final client. These evaluations were broadcast on the “El Bulevar” programme of Gestiona Radio, an economic radio station belonging to the COPE. Representatives of Rafael Hotels, Jones Lang LaSalle, Orbitz, Richard Ellis and Magma Turismo, among others, were some of the leading figures from the world of tourism who participated in Ariztoy’s programme.
The Confortel stand, located in Hall 10 of the fair, was 21 metres long by 13.5 metres wide with an innovative design, tending, like in previous years, to give more value to the contents than the space, or in other words, giving priority to people, visitors, friends, etc., a key factor in the philosophy of ONCE’s hotel chain. However, in this 2010 edition, the company has wished to go one step further, giving its visitors the opportunity to write down their thoughts, which went on to form and integral part of the stand.
